The app uses an algorithm driven credit scoring platform known as , “The Social Loan Quotient (SLQ)”, which quickly determines a user’s credit worthiness by using multiple unique data points to arrive at a distinct credit profile of the customer. I had the opportunity to speak to one of the regular users of the app, Mr. John from Chennai who looked extremely happy when asked about his experience. “There was no personal intervention required at all. The average time take to disburse a loan is about 8 minutes (subject to correct submission of all documents). Loans ranging Rs. 5000 to Rs. 1,00,000 are currently disbursed by the app which is payable over 15, 30 and 90 days. Targeted towards young working professionals in the age group of 25-35 years, CASHe aims to soon increase the loan amount.
